Alas, the apricot tree is dead, Jim, and I may not be able to get a replacement planted until spring, when it won't be ready to flower, maybe not for a couple of years.
The aprium tree will be old enough to start bearing next year, but it's not self-fertile. My only chance is the plumcot - which did flower for the first time this year. Any guesses - will the plumcot pollinate the aprium?
Will my plumcot pollinate my aprium?
No, according to a few nurseries I looked at online.
You'll need an apricot for the aprium and a japanese plum for the plumcot
Yeah, I know that's what they say, I was hoping they were wrong.
