Happy Weekend!!

Well, we're roasting her in So Cal with temperatures above 100 the last two days, and it's supposed to get hotter tomorrow and Sunday (yuck!).

I've got some pretty blooms to share.

First is twins from Allure.

A pretty Double Agent. I really like this cultivar, seems like sometimes the blooms are soft looking, other times they're bright.

100 degrees in May? Yikes, I hope it cools down for you soon.

Karen, you have a bunch of beauties there! We were 100 degrees here the last two days and my hibbies are sulking so I'm very jealous that yours like the heat! If I had to pick a favorite I'd say Powderpuff, but they're all gorgeous! And Alice, I love your June's Joy, such cheerful happy colors!

Karen, nice collection!! I can remember a time in Calif when no other colors existed but red, pink, yellow, and white.
Kyle :-)

Thanks guys!

Ardesia, both blooms are gorgeous :-) June's Joy is so bright and sunny, and I just love the colors of Seventh Heaven - it's one of my "this year's" favorites.

Liz, a lot of my plants are pouting too - especially the ones that I haven't potted up yet from Matt. I must get the remainder done as soon as it cools a bit, they are so full and big that there are just not enough roots to keep them cool.

I've got a couple of pretties to add from this morning. Here's Fantasy Charm.

They are all soooo pretty but Fantasy Charm caught my eye today.

This is an unusually large (for me) Holly's Pride on her second day. She is about 8 1/2" and my doubles are usually much smaller.

Karen and Alice,
beautiful blooms.
Will post mine after work, tonight.

When I wasn't looking Zoey decided to bloom today. I was so surprised to see the flower as I didn't even know it had buds. About two months ago I found Zoey out of the pot and all dried up; I was sure she was a casualty but apparently she is a survivor.

Black Dragon also bloomed for me. This is the plant I really butchered last fall because I didn't like the shape of the plant. I left it outside all winter without any protection and it too is obviously a survivor. I have been using that Space City Hibiscus Fertilizer, maybe that is what is doing the trick for me.

The wind is blowing at about 25 MPH today and the flowers look a bit pale and windblown.

Allure, Mango Tango are my fav from Karens.
Alice, love your zoey!!!

Ok, here mine come. I'm cheating, because they are from Thursday to today, and the summer spots are all coming out :)
