Here are my blooms from today with the early morning dew still on them. I took these pictures as the sun rose over my garden.

Pink Perfection Lily
May 12, 2008 Blooms
Love the morning dew on 'Pink Perfection'.
Very nice. :)
Lovely! I almost bought Pink Perfection this year.
I am so happy that I bought Pink Perfection. I can hardly wait each morning to get outside and see what it is doing today.
Carol
Pretty - I got that one last fall, can't wait to see it bloom!
gorgeous. My lilies are so close to opening I can almost taste it!
That's so hard... the waiting. With the rain we've had here this week, I can't check on any of them. I can't wait to see yours.
Carol
Seven years ago we added a small apartment to our house for my mother-in-law (now 87). She and I love flowers and I've been having such fun putting pots and tubs on her front porch. This year, we did a couple of lily coops and planted soooo many. She and I have a bet going as to which blooms first.. the dwarf yellow asiatic or the pink dwarf oriental. They're both so very close. She's betting on the asiatic - my money is on the oriental. Either way, we both win!
jo
I love that! My money is on the Asiatic too. Those were my first to open. My mom and my grandfather compete to see who can grow the largest and the most tomatos. It makes it so much fun to help them shop for what may be the best plants.
Carol
carol - with any luck, I'll have a picture or two to post tomorrow.... and I'll even try to find the time to look up in my records and remember what varieties they are! Yours are beautiful!
jo
Why ty. I'll be watching for yours.
Carol
Yep- the asiatics opened first. Pixie Orange. They're really stunning. Will have to locate the camera and take a picture or two!
jo
Sounds so vibrant! Can't wait to see.
Carol
oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh ... can anything be more bautiful than a lily? (don't answer that... I'm also partial to tulips and daffs and daphne and iris and canna and hosta and........)
I am so jealous!! Those are just beautiful! :) Keep the pictures coming!
So beautiful you guys. That NOID is great too.
I will surely keep the pictures coming, as long as the blooms keep appearing. Thank you so much for looking and enjoying my garden with me. Hugs.
Carol
Wow, all very lovely!
Oh. My first orientals are opening. Pictures soon!
jo
Ooh can't wait to see them! Please share with us.
Carol
Ok, I can't resist a tiny bit of bragging. The second picture on this forum, my Pink Perfection First Bloom (Post #4940844), just jumped out to me and said that it was a very special picture. So, I entered it in every online photo contest that I could find. This is the email I recieved today!

Congratulations - how exciting! Just think how many lillies you could buy with the prize money!
Hmmm..... I am not going there. Lol. I already have over 200 plants on my porch that are waiting for my flowerbeds to expand and for their new home to be dug. I won't need anymore for quite some time, unless they just happen to fall in my lap and hitch a ride home.
Carol
Ooooh, those are so pretty! They look just like fireworks going off! :) Cool!
