Plant Sale at State Aboretum this weekend!

Lexington, VA(Zone 6a)

Most of you know we'll be there, and Phoebe too! This is a great plant sale, there are over 90 booths this year!!! It's a little overwhelming for some people, but LOTS of plants, garden related items, information and good food :)

May 10-11 Annual Garden Fair http://www.virginia.edu/blandy/GF08.htm
The State Arboretum of Virginia at Blandy Experimental Station, Boyce, VA

Friday (May 9) 5:00 – 7:30 FOSA Members Only - Preview Night
Saturday 9:00 – 4:30
Sunday 9:00 – 4:30

Directions: http://www.virginia.edu/blandy/map.html

I'm really disappointed...they've increased the parking fee to $10.00 this year (used to be $5.00). I know the fee is for a good cause, supports the work the Foundation is doing at the Arboretum, but I'm hopeful attendees won't be discouraged and leave! Regardless, hoping that we'll see some of you there :)

Debbie

Brunswick, MD(Zone 6b)

I'm goin' with my Mom again this year on Sunday! I went twice last year, spring and fall. I love this Plant Sale! We eat at Food on a Stick and if you go, get the Heritage Kettle Korn, but get it with the "Tie on the side" 'cause then they fill it to the very top and you have to eat it down enough to tie it shut :-P Was disappointed when they weren't there in the fall. Debbie (Rick's Custom Nursery) has the best booth with awesome plants. And she's bringing my requested plants and will have them waiting just for little old me :). Hope to catch Debbie at a not too frantic moment, and visit with her, Phoebe and Rick.

Bump.

I'm still goin' rain or shine :)
