Is anyone planning on going this weekend?

I am thinking about going to DeBaggio's Herb Farm (http://www.debaggioherbs.com/) in Chantilly and then to the Garden Festival on Sat.

I might go Saturday. I have been intending to go for the past several years. It seems like either the weather is bad, I have something going on or there is too much to do in my own garden...well I guess there is always too much to do in my garden. For those that have gone in that past, how do you like this festival? Is it a good place to get ideas and information or it is more commercial vendors pushing their products? Are the plant sales good?

I don't think the prices are in the bargain category. There are vendors with unusual plants, garden art, tools, landscaping, ponds, iron work, planters, herbs, veggies and your 'regular' plants at regular prices. Also, the stores in town are nice and good for air conditioning - don't know if we would need that this weekend though, maybe as a big umbrella.....

They lend wagons to tote around all your goodies or lots of people bring their own with kids and then kick them out:)

I really like this festival - last year I went with Critter and her friend Theresa - lots of fun!

If the weather is decent I will try to get there with two of my boys. Funny how they love to give flowers to mommy...don't they know that *I* am the one that gardens? ;-) I guess boys are born to like trucks and give girls flowers.
