Any advice on how to root another pitcher plant? what do I take from where etc?
pitcher plant
Take a cutting with about 3 leaves, Place in a 50/50 mix of peat moss and perlite. Water with DISTILLED or RAINWATER ONLY. NO bottled water or tap water. Keep moist not soggy. In about a month it should be rooted. They are fairly easy to root.

Thanks Tom
I thought it would more difficult as they sell these little pots for $35 around here. What happens to the pitcher forming at the tip of a cutting?
Fred
Hi Fred,
Just cut it off. No problem. I have a new cutting myself going the past few months, it HAS rooted. Not sure if it'll pitcher this year but we will see shortly as spring has sprung!
