HELP branch broke off from snow, can I root this somehow?

Warren, OH(Zone 5b)

I have only successfully rooted a forcythia cutting so far, but this branch broke off when the snow fell on it. Can I cut it and make starts from it? Any help to do this would be so appriciated. Where do I make the cuts, do I use Rootone? Put the starts in baggies? I have read and read but there are so many opinions that I would like some help from those that have done this. I am so sad,, this is such a pretty bush.
Thank you, Kathy

I can see at least 5 good cuttings on your Rhododendron branch Kathy! Nice light setup. Seedlings look good!

VM,
Well I haven't had much success with rooting cuttings, out of all that I have tried only the verigated forcythia actually rooted, but I will give it a shot. The setup is great, but now I NEED MORE LIGHTS, lol. Out of room and now I need to thin and repot all of the seedlings. I need another house.

I know EXACTLY what you mean Kathy, lol! Back in Canada, I had to keep buying more lights too. It's a vicious circle, more seed trays, seedlings, etc. means more lights and tables or whatever you can find to put things on after you run out of tables. I used to timers as well to help automate things a little. It never ends until the weather starts to get better and you can start taking things outside. It was such a relief to finally take everything apart and store things til "next year"!
