nanny_56 - I love those bird leg shots. :)
DAILY PICS VOL. 35
Very cute nanny!
Your very lucky to have the RBW's; their great birds!
Very nice!
?
He was reiterating how to do the quote feature sybil, lol.
Here is how the quote feature works
It's like that without the space between the word quote and the ] in the above sentence..
Taking out the space here is what ya get:
Here is how the quote feature works

You are all striking comedy writers, correct?
Lol Nanny...That RBN looks like a Giraffe trying to drink water.
Great owls Jane. And the White Winged doves always remind me of the Stevie Nicks song... "Just like a White Winged Dove...Sings a song sounds like shes singing ooh baby ooh ooh"
I just put up a nutty Suet cage out back. Maybe I can become a productive member of our little society instead of just getting songs stuck in peoples heads. :)
Sybil.. you're too funny! Don't give up!
~Shannon
It's like that but...do it like this but without that...etc.
And yet somehow, I managed to do it right. Applause please. :)
Clap,Clap Clapping!!!!!
Way to go Sybil!!
GP, love the hummingbird!
Nanny, great pics of the RBW. Mine seem to prefer that type of feeder over the suet feeder, although I did see him taking a bite of peanut butter today.
I had my first sighting of a Hairy Woodpecker today! Here's the pic and the next will be a pic of a Downy for size comparison.
I have the dangest time trying to tell the Hairy from the Downy unless they come at the same time or right after one another.
The RBW were using the suet feeder, but once I got the tray & started to put the peanut pieces in it, they made it clear which they liked best. They go where ever the peanuts are!

If any of you will be getting the snow storm, please add your snowy bird pics to the Let it Snow! thread. Thanks! :)
Great pics everyone! ;-)
Marilyn
Well done, Sybil - now don't you feel clever?
Not so much! LOL
Funny thread! And great pictures!! I can only hope I can actually see a red bellied woodpecker this winter!
I'm a bit envious of you guys with snow! Last year the snow dodged us each and every time a storm headed our way. :(
Anyway, today it's a bit active out since the rain has stopped for a bit. Not the best picture because he was so far away, it's gloomy out, and I had to take the picture through a window (I know, many excuses!) but here's a male Eastern Towhee .....
Indiana_lily,
Great shots of some of my favorite birds! ;-)
Thanks for sharing.
Marilyn
Nice pics!
No snow nanny?
Nanny_56,
Great shots of the Titmouse, Dee and WBN!
Rainy and gloomy here too today. We've had heavy rain, moderate rain and light rain, but better than to be having snow/sleet/ice/freezing rain!

Nice pics nanny!
We had a light snow then small amount of hail followed by sleet.
Thats a nice wide platform feeder.
Is that a Junco flying in?
In the order that they appear...
Titmouse
Chickadee
WBN
RBN
RBW
Actually it is a rather small tray from WBU maybe 12'' x12'' might be a little smaller than that. But I love it. This is the wood one. I want to get the one made out of recycled milk jugs.
