Texture Part 4
I forgot to bring the guidelines along.
What kind of texture is it? What does it look or feel like? lumpy, rubbery, whispy, velvety, spiky, smooth, soft, lacy, bumpy, feathery, fluffy, satiny, fuzzy, puffy, leathery, stringy, transluscent, suede-like, spidery, gnarly, brainy, crinkled.
Or,
What does it remind you of? balloons, blood vessels, Kleenex, birthday candles, plastic, teflon, alligator skin, wet corduroy, carpet, powder puffs, hair, pincushion, tarantula, venetian blinds, bubble wrap, dish scrubber, lava, paper, ribbon, whitecaps.
Best new word from last thread: scissory (honour goes to grampapa)
Best question from last thread: "You mean moss comes in kinds"? (congrats, nap)
billy, it's beautiful, but since you say slobbery, I'm seeing St Bernard
Exactly!!!!!!!!!!
Poor hubby. It was a valiant try. Give him back the camera and tell him to go try again.
Lovely, billyporter! Looks like a golden thread!
Awww, why didn't I think of that! That's a better description.
LOL Love it! Your alien is darling. :)
the alien reminds me of the ones on the Muppet show...anyone else remember? too cute!
I love 'come and get it'...great imagination
WOW, those are cool ideas. I hope to get something online for you guys.. looks fun!
Working on a new area on our property I put in a small miniature Conifer grouping and would like to compliment the texture with spikey types like Yucca which I can locate easily but finding other species and their tolerance for zone (5-6) Prickly pear or perhaps cacti types that can take the cold can't find much .Any help is appreciated.
Peter
Hmmm................prickly pear will survive in protected areas. Will have to look into this.............choices are out there.
