Plexippus,
Great pictures! I am not familiar with Volo Bog, but judging from your photos, it is a place I would love to see.
Paul - I did manage to find one more!

Paul,
A couple of years ago, I put in Rudbeckia Herbstonne - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/647/ I dont have any pictures of them - they started to come into their own this past year. They are all of 8 ft tall. I will get pictures next year and post them.

Paul,
My Mother in Law sent me home a number of years ago with pots of Rudbeckia Golden Glow - http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/81738/ - I don't think I have any pictures of this, but I will look tonight when I get home (yes, I am work again).
This is another one that is all of 8 feet tall.

Carolyn,
Wow!!!!! 6-8' Rudbeckias. I had no idea. Those are pretty cool.
I just had two cultivars. The one shown above is called Autumn Colors.

And then the other I've got is called Indian Summer.

Although I never saw any butterflies on them, they were always covered with all sorts of Bees.
They were relly fun to watch. The bees would never bother me, but were fighting amongst themselves for a good spot.

Paul,
Love your Indian Summer. Absolutely stunning as are your sunflowers.
I haven't grown sunflowers in some years. What I remember most were the blue jays on them after they had gone to seed!

First year growing for 'Razzmatazz' Coneflowers...........did pretty good....I have a better shot than this one.....I'll see if I can get it posted. I am anxious to see how the 'Razzmatazz' do in 2008 with it being their second year...(right now they are buried in ice, poor babies!). I am going to save seeds from them next summer to get more plants going.
