Bottlebrush 'Woodlander's Red/Woodlander's Hardy'

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

Has anyone tried this? I bought a plant and it would be nice to have one less plant in the already crowded sun room. But I'm paranoid it maybe not live up to it's z7 hardiness.

Feedback?

Can't be of much help here since I've never grown it - though I fell in love with it in Florida! Guessing the only thing I could add is - where did you buy it? If it was grown in your area (versus shipped in from a warmer zone), it would already be acclimated to your zone. If not, then you might want to keep it in the "already crowded sun room" for the first winter and then it should be fine for the next winter? My 2 cents :)

I bought it through the internet and they probably grew it in a greenhouse.
