some wild roses that do well with shade & black walnut trees

Strasburg, VA(Zone 6b)

hi, i have mentioned before about some wild roses that i have in my yard...i missed both round ups (much to my dismay) so i wasn't able to do any cuttings

however, today i found plenty rose babies & the other day i found some older ones that could be trimmed down and mailed if any one is interested

i also can get teasle seed....found out that the dried heads are full of it

let me know if anyone would like some of these :-)

what do the roses look like?
were you the person who might have wanted my 'white eupatorium"?

It turned out to be common snakeroot, but can be a decent wildflower type thing, and very fragrant Sept bloom.

I don't remember re the white eupatorium
seems like there is so much to remember and not enough storage space :-)

these roses are white/pale pink
i don't recall much of a scent but they were tucked away in many shaded & semi-shaded areas and were growing right up to some black walnuts
