There's a thread about fall sales somewhere, but I can't find it.
So I'll post this in the meantime: Sale at Carroll Gardens: http://www.carrollgardens.com/Promos/2007/fall-overstock.asp?REFERER=071029.
Fall sales
Thanks, Happy, as a matter of fact, there are two plants on that link that I've been planning to get: sambucus black lace and Zephirine Drouphin climbing rose. Who can resist a baahgain???
I know, I've been thinking about Black Lace. I'm tempted to try it even though requires sun (sigh). But I found it cheaper at forestfarm, though I haven't ordered it. Given that it might now survive in my paltry conditions, I may go for cheap. I may also try that nice white Beautyberry that RCN has been tempting us with.
Jeez, you are the Queen of Bahgains because I thought that the Carrollgardens price was mucho better than any others that I've seen! I'll go check out the other as well.
Pinetree sent this bulb sale email- link here

I don't think I woudld call i t dirt cheap though, but I like Pinetree.
Someone on another Forum posted that Gardencrossings has 30% off all fall orders https://www.gardencrossings.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/home.home/index.htm. I actually couldn't find it mentioned anywhere, but he said the shopping cart will reflect the discount.
Wrightie: I suspect the Carroll Gardens plant would be much much bigger and nicer, so I doubt the Forest Farms deal is better per se, but I'm very patient and don't mind starting with a rooted twig.
I dropped by The Behnke in Beltsville just now and thought I'd mention here that their perennials are 40% off. I'd say that they still had over ten tables worth of potted perennials left. I picked up a few 1 gal plants (a couple sedums and a replacement for my silver mound that crapped out last Winter).
All arbors and trellises are 50% off - still a pretty good selection. I was very tempted by a couple of archways.
Patio furniture - 50% off.
Tools - 25% off.
Lots of ornamental cabbage and kale to choose from - even 4" pots ($3.99 each).
