What are you going to use on my hands to stop me from ripping it off to begin with? Those zip tie thingies?
Bring the road GPS. I bought a new gps but not one for the car. Kept meaning to do that but forgot.

Pelle, .......hhmmmm 'hawk watch' area....I don't know where the 'hawk watch' area is. There are a few observatory locations. One on the Point which we like to visit by bike ride and one on route 47. We travel home that way just so we can stop there. The route 47 location is much larger, sells plants and has lots of books etc.

Thanks wind! I am sure I've never been to the Rt.47 one.
Haven't been on that road much since I moved from Stone Harbor.
I'll have to check it out, meanwhile I'll have to see if I can find a link for the Hawk watch for you. You've probably been there; its right on the beach and has a few large observation decks along with a chart about how many sightings of different Hawks each season,
There's a large parking lot w/ a building there and alot of Purple Martin houses around.
Thanks again! Pelle
LOL, Meanwhile if you need any more duct tape Equil; let me know. I always get very upset and nervous if I get lost in a strange area. Having someone w/ you is a great help for the nerves even if they are of no help direction wise. I know in your case having Terry w/ you would be a hoot but maybe just to be on the safe side you guys should think of bringing a few diapers as I fear the enormous amount of laughter is going to be too much for both of you. :-) (just kidding) Pelle
Naa, I'm good to go in the duct tape arena- she's a small person so I don't need a lot. Yes, there are many "Depends" moments when I talk to her.
wind- here is a link for the Cape May Hawk Watch

Sorry it took me so long to get back w/ the info. Pelle :-)
Thanks for the hawk links!!!!!! We have a regular hawk around here but I haven't gotten an id on him yet. I hear him more than I see him. Once you hear that "thrown in the air, fire cracker missle sound" you can't mistake the call of a hawk! I've seen him a few times too, like about 10 minutes ago!
Maybe a Red-tailed Hawk.
Theres alot of them around our area.
You can hear their sound on this page (right side)

that's the one!
Good; I thought so! As soon as you said "fire cracker missile sound", I thought RTH.
I have a parrot that imitates their sound exactly but I'm not sure if he learned it by listening to the Hawks or the Bluejays that imitate them. :-)
