Hi All,

North Ipswich, Qld, Australia

We are now starting to get more hot days then cold and I was wondering if it would be time to sow my cacti seeds?

If so, what is the best way of doing it, any tips?
I have directions with them but some of you may have some tips I could learn from as my first attempt didn't work.

Thx,

Sorry your post lasted so long w/o response.

I've been quite successful with cactus, following the instructions on
the seed pack (I got them from T&M). My notes are in the greenhouse
(outside) so I can't give them to you. I do recall sprinkling the surface
with a fine grit and the seeds being on top.

Did you start them yet? Any luck?

Not as yet but I sure will now as yesterday I bought some seed raising mix.

So I just put them on top of dirt and then gently sprinkle dirt over the top minimaly.

I have aquired so many succulents, (if you want to have a look) in Cacti & Succulents. Tam, would you know this succulent as it is not planted and I want to know how to plant it and maybe what it's name is?

Sorry for all the picture's, but I was panicing about getting them all re-potted brfore putting them near my own collection. Bugs, etc.

Thanks Heaps, Tam

Sorry Debi - I'm a casual cacti & succulent grower. Don't know them
by latin names at all.
