Advice on Apple tree

Saint Cloud, MN(Zone 4b)

I am hoping to get my hands on a Bramley Apple whip and I was wondering if anyone knew where a good place to purchase one would be. I also need help finding out which apple I should plant near it for pollination. Thanks so much.

Trees of Antiquity Nursery has it. It is pollinated by Cox Orange Pippin, Fiesta, Fortune, Grenadier, Herefordshire, Sunset and Worcester Pearmain.

Thanks so much-but they say it is for zone 6! Ugh!! I so wanted a very tart apple!! I wonder if there is any for zone 4.

Thanks so much again-Robbi

There are many tart apples, several of which will work in zone 4. Heres a few to consider.

Duchess of Oldenburg
Red Astrachan
Rhode Island Greening
Belle de Boskoop

These are not as good in my warm zone, I am only growing Boskoop, so I can't comment on them directly.
