Any advice on germinating Salvia officinalis (Sage) seeds? I've had a few of them in dirt for over a month and cant get a sprout. Could just be bad seeds i suppose. Any advice? What is the typical germination rate for average S. officinalis seeds?

Did you cover them with soil? Salvia need light to germinate.

Hmm... that could indeed be the problem. I shall scatter them on the surface of some dirt and see what happens.
salvia seeds form a mucus like coating to help them germinate, they need light to form coating after sewing
