wanted to know what everyone if propagating now for maybe to save over for winter or what youre suppose to be doing now for next year? plmk and thxs
what are you propagating now
All perennials. Right now I have salvias, caryopteris, roses, mints and nepeta, butterfly bushes, skullcap. It's going to hit and miss with some such as the caryopteris, the stems are starting to harden and the temps were pretty high last week. I won't over winter these, hope to get them in ground by October. Some of my roses I don't expect will make it either. I don't propagate them on purpose....they're weed eater accidents.
I'm going to try hardwood winter cutting this year of gardenia and azaleas and some boxwoods. It will be my first attempt ever and plan to start some time in November depending on the weather.
sounds cool i will look into these thxs
I am rooting cuttings of my neighbor's fire engine red Crepe Myrtle.
Still struggling with my 'Incense' Passiflora vines... hope they're doing better than they look!!!
