Emma, you've got some great new designs this year!
Wonderful collection!
Ronnie:I love the prison MG. A nice blue color.
Great flowers! I don't have any to post today because it is drizzling.
Skimper - very pretty! LOVE the var. foliage.
I grew that one, but no blooms. :(
Joanne
Ilike the varigated foilage on the cameo elegance, this is the first bloom.
It was just a drizzle, seems to have stopped now.
Judith. . .
Another pretty Bloom.
Thanks Beth . . .
Don't have a name for the Blue one yet. I have this one and several others to send photos to Ron first before I slap a name on them. What happened was that I 'accidentally' planted a group of seeds this year that was from a mix that I knew would not grow back True and now I have the task of tracing back to see what information I have from each new one as to where it came from. I only intentionally crossed a very few MGs last year, but this group is coming from the year 2003. Additionally, I do have a couple so far that did not grow back True from last year, and oh wow, the new blooms are even prettier. Two are [and wouldn't you know it] President Bush and Lady Laura. I will need to post Lady Laura NOT when I can. Just Awesome.
Ronnie . . .
ALL OF YOUR BLOOMS ARE OUTSTANDING!
Very Nice Trio here

I hope you tagged Your Yagaruma Reversed Tube bloom just for grins to see what you get next year. Amazing!
This one is a keeper

Is this one from me, that I named Jamie Lynn? Or something else?
Love it!

Thanks Pam. . .
After ALL of the rain we have had the last few months, we are praying for it now. It is in the low 100's, heat index pushes it waaay up there.
Plants have to be watered almost daily because of the heat.
Why can't we just get one good, long rainfall each week!
Emma
Emma, your blooms are simply amazing this yr. Impossible to pick a
favorite.
Ronnie, your blooms all special this yr too.
Revclaus, great pic of a beautiful m glory.
Skimper, love the Cameo Elegance.
Jackie
Thanks all!! Emma the Jamie Lynn look alike was sold to me as 'Aomurasaki' but I forget who I bought it from. I marked all my tags with the name but this one just has a date, I will have to look and see if I have any seeds left. Joseph also has the same one. Here is a close up of the flower. LMK what you think.
Thank you Jackie . . .
Ronnie . . .
Thanks for the name and the close up photo.
I LOVE IT!
Now that I see your bloom up close, this appears to be the very same type of seeds that I grew a few years ago that produced a MIX of White; Extremely Pale Blue; and Extremely Pale Pink Blooms. Each Bloom had specks, flecks and streaks just as your photo. Most were very slight, with some a bit heavier. Some would have a slight Star Pattern and it seems that it was always in Pale Pink - I need to go back to those photos to study them again. One of the blooms was a Pure Solid White/Extremely Pale Blue with a Pink halo at the throat and sometimes partial star and sometimes no star pattern at all. This one I singled the seeds out because it was so pretty and grew them separately the following year. It stayed true as a Solid. Couldn't find a name for this MG anywhere, so I named it 'Jamie Lynn'. I did buy this same seed type that you and Joseph have from eBay Japan but haven't grown them yet.
Ron has also grown this same MG previously too so may be able to tell us more about it.
I'll post a couple of 'Jamie Lynn' blooms below with and without the Star Pattern.
THIS IS A GREAT MG!
Thanks again Ronnie . . .
Emma
Now I really feel bad! I planted my Jamie Lynn too early this year and they didn't come up.
Just looked at the name again
'Aomurasaki'
doesn't seem fitting
All I can see in this name is Blue-Purple
Hmmmm
Ron any ideas?
Emma
Beth, I'll have LOTS of seeds to share with you again.
It is a joy of a MG
Emma
The aomurasaki looks streaked faintly.
Beth there are faint streaks! I was real pleased with this one!!
