Someone kindly sent me a goodie box of Bromeliads - Nero's to be specific...I'm SOOOOO excited!! She suggested "Humus Soil" anyone know where I can find this stuff? As she said most of these are true air plants so I need to alternatively find a "loose" soil. Helpppp, please and thank you!
Humus Soil - where?
WalMart, Lowes and Home Depot sell bags of humus and manure. Is that what she's talking about? I know they don't need much soil and can even be grown on a wooden plank or log.
Maybe Gita would know?
Then by golly, I'm hitting Wally World tonight!! Thanks, Diane!
This is with the big bags of topsoil, mulch and so on. That's the only thing I've ever seen sold as "humus."
Ok...I'll take a peek...
