Two-acre living butterfly stamp
If you live anywhere near Lawrence KS, you might enjoy checking this out. 'Acclaimed Kansas artist' Stan Herd created a two-acre replica of one of the Pollinator stamps released by the USPS. This series of 4 Pollinator stamps is to bring attention to the problem of disappearing pollinators.
Herd's creation is a replica of the Southern Dogface butterfly stamp. It is the 'world's largest living stamp', made up of only plants and other natural materials and is on a family farm outside of Lawrence KS.
