My seeds didn't germinate. Does anyone know if Jiffies are reusable?
Jiffy pots - reusable?
I don't think they're meant to be reused.. When I used them, the roots grew out the sides of the little jiffie pots...
I dont; know if they are but I have. If i plant a seed and it never takes, i just did out the old seed, refresh it with water and maybe some seed starter to refresh the soil and plant away again.

I agree with Maydreams.
If I can't find the old seed, I leave the old lable in the peat pot, and put a new
lable in front of it.
Can't say I've had that experience. Usually all my pots are over run with roots.. So, if other people's been able to reuse pots that haven't grow, maybe the.. Best of luck with that..
If the seeds did not sprout go ahead and reuse the jiffy pot. I have without problem.
Thanks for the help, fellow DGers. A penny saved is a penny earned... and can be spent on new plants!
