Just wanted to relate what happened a couple of days ago when I was stopped at a red light. To my left I saw something drop out of the sky. Then as I glanced out the window and up a bit what did I see but a Bald Eagle. Turns out what I saw dropping was a fish that has slipped out of his grasp in mid-air. He flew down to the Fire Station driveway where the fish fell and scooped it back up...giving us a close-up thrill of seeing such a gorgeous bird! No time for a photo, of course...so I uploaded the one I took of an Eagle flying over my house from several months ago.

Bald Eagle experience
We hawk migration watchers call them "flying planks"due to the width of the wings. Your beautiful photo demonstrates that well. Great 'fish tale" as also. Jane 31
