Then as I glanced out the window and up a bit what did I see but a Bald Eagle. Turns out what I saw dropping was a fish that has slipped out of his grasp in mid-air. He flew down to the Fire Station driveway where the fish fell and scooped it back up...giving us a close-up thrill of seeing such a gorgeous bird! No time for a photo, of course...so I uploaded the one I took of an Eagle flying over my house from several months ago.
