I just thought this was funny. I bought packages of "wild flower" seeds and made my nice little bed to grow them in. They came up really well, but a few days after they started to come up, I looked out into the wooded part of our property and what did I see? The exact same flowers growing wild. Even a lot of things that weren't in my packages of seeds. So now I'm wandering around in the back 40 digging up plants and harvesting seeds. They are beautiful and I'd love to share them if I can figure out how to save the seeds, etc. I don't know the names of any of them, other than the black eyed susans.
Boy do I feel stupid.
No need to feel bad, the most of the good things are already in your back yard, that is what your nice needs to know more than anything. And that is what I need to realize now.
