Who Am I?

North West, OH(Zone 5b)

I had a few containers with only one or two sprouts in them and they kind of got shoved off to the side in lieu of getting the multitudes planted. .... Then of course I lost track of what was what.

Does this look at all familar to anyone?

I think it's a Blanketflower / Gaillardia - maybe this one?:

Ding ding ding I think you just wont the prize Claypa. And so quickly at that (btw I just put up a post on the plant ID forum if you want to sneak over there now) LOL!

I bet this is the one that I snuck a dead-head from my neighbor. It was pretty much already gone when I pinched it so I wasn't entirely sure what it looked like in full bloom....but I think I do now!

Thanks,
La

I only recognized it because I have some growing from a WS swap.(Arizona Sun) I didn't expect it to bloom this year but it shouldn't be too long now! The only Delphinium I have is really a Larkspur, so I got nothin on that one.

Hi, I'm not a wintersower (yet) so sorry to butt in... :-) But that looks more like a calendula to me. The foliage looks exactly like calendula foliage. Compare this one:

I don't think that's your cultivar - you might have Pacific Beauty or one of the others, not sure exactly.

Ding Ding Ding! We have another winner! (and please "butt in" at will Rebecca).

How about Calendula Radio Extra? I just looked it up and there it is. I DID plant a jug of those but I could have sworn none of them germinated. Obviously one did! Thank you SO much.

(and you really ought to give that winter-sowing a try, it's a blast) ;-)
