I liked Stunning so much I purchased a couple more in case something happened to my first one. Stunning is available from buggycrazy for those who may be interested in purchasing it.

Here is Moby's Swan Dive from last year. I sometimes call it Flying Nun because when viewed from the right angle it looks like Sally Field's nun hat.

Your dark purple trumpet seedling is very eye-catching. They're all pretty!

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I love them all.........Stunning is exceptional! So are the seedlings from lilyseed.com

pard, how long did the trumpets take to flower from seed?

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Stunning is, well, stunning! All of your lilies are wonderful. Keep the pictures coming!

Typically mine bloom the third summer from a spring sowing. A few might bloom the second summer. I really think of them like any other perennial started from seed. Under ambient, normal conditions they don't bloom the first year and if they are strong enough they will bloom the second year. I don't have the time or space to pamper and push them for a sooner than normal first bloom. And survival of the fittest is my mantra here. With limited space I will be weeding out some non-performers this year. Times up!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Oh pard, what wonferful lilies you have! I must say, my favorite is (you guessed it) the trumpet seedling from lily seeds. Wow!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Wow, wow, wow.... on all counts! All beauties. :D

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

This looks a lot different than what I expected, from a photo I used to purchase this one.

I know I already posted 'Luxurious', but I still can't get over how pretty it is. A double oriental WITH pollen.

This is my first year with 'Robina'. The color is very pink, but lighter than I expected it to be. Soft fragrance.

'Lord Samuel Hood' You know, I always forget how I love the trumpets. In my mind, I always think.....stake, stake stake.....

Wow, so many beauties! I really like Stunning and Strawberry Cream. This one I have as American Adventure. I tried to find an online photo of it to confirm the ID, but couldn't.
It is a deeper more red color than American Spirit and American Dream. So far, all the American series seem to do well here.

Leslie Woodriff. Looks somewhat like American Adventure.

Golden Stardust's huge blooms make African Queen in the background look tiny.

Golden Stardust looks huge. I'm not familiar with that one. It's an OT? Nice.

The one I like best is the one with all the colors of the sunset - Pard's "Yum" from seed from Lilyseeds.com

Stunning doesn't have anything over "Yum" - most excellent.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

OK that one has been named. Off to get my P-touch label maker.....

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Magnolia, I think it's possible that my Golden Stardust is really CONCA d’OR. What do you think? I got it from Wayside a few years ago as Golden Stardust, an oriental, but the only photos I can find of Golden Stardust look more gold all over.

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

Lincolnitess, it sure looks like it could be. Do you have a Conca anywhere in your garden to compare? Things get mixed up at these places, from time to time(snickering....)
