Hubby climbed up the lighthouse, too many steps for me!
Corolla, Currituck lighthouse
While he was doing that, I visited the Center for Wildlife Education, The display in the center was nice.
Otter and baby.
Fox, we saw a live one when we were leaving Outerbanks at 5:00 in the morning.
We stopped at Historic Corolla Village, they have some interesting shops there here are some pictures of the garden behind the Garden shop.
And another.
Almost forgot this one. Area near the lighthouse and Nature Center. Nice place to spend some down time.

Wow, Chris. What a pretty place. I love that shot of the otter and it's baby.
D. I love the Corolla area, not so busy, more relaxing. I know you have to stay out of the sun, but if you get ocean front you can sit in the AC and enjoy the ocean.
Some nights we were out on the beach walking with flashlights.
We also had beach umbrellas I sat under them a lot of the time, digging my toes into the sand. Grate way to get rid of callous on the big toe. LOL
