i have sparaxis seeds, but my question is really about all bulbs. how do their seeds work? can they be germinated? do they become bulbs? This is my first time with bulbs, so now that I've successfully gotten them to grow and flower, i'm onto the seeds. thanks for any info
seeds from a bulb
I'm not sure if I fully understand your question marzissa. Collecting seed from a plant depends on what type of plant you're growing. However it doesn't matter if the plant started out as a seedling or if it "grew up" from a bulb, the basic principle is the same. You collect the seed after the plant has finished flowering, then you either plant them or store them 'till the next year.
A sight with lots of good info on seed collecting / saving is http://theseedsite.co.uk/
Hope that helps,
La
