This is Turkish Topaz 1962 Austin a regelia Hybrid
Arils Are begining

I'll have to talk you out of a piece of Turkish Topaz sometime, Anita. I've added a couple of RBs to my beds in hopes that the regelia genes will be hardier here than the onco genes have proven to be. I've never tried an RH, though. It'd be interesting to see if it's tough enough to handle northern MN.

Thanks for sharing! I'm pretty new to irises but am amazed by the varieties (not to mention shocked by some of the prices!) out there. Yours are beautiful!

Your irises are just plain beautiful! Not not mention the photography is excellent.
My Turkish Topaz survived the winter here in Maine and has two green fans. It is an experiment to see if arils can survive here. Grin.
Good for you Mainer
:)
I am getting to believe that all irises can grow everywhere if we can some how make a micro-environment for them.
Still thinking on how to do dwarfs in the south :)
Anita
Yep Dee that has to come here and see if it survives
LOL

Desert Plum and Desert Fury are knockouts! I will probably have to get some, too.

Will add to the list to hopefully get on the sales for members:)

Beautiful. They are really so elegant.
How fun to see a new intro ahead of time! Who will be introducing it?
Sure love the richness of that one.
