Can anyone help me ID this one? Thanks!

Which Gentian?
Sure looks like G. acaulis to me.
Siskiyou,
Thanks for the reply. I've since been told by the person who gave this to me that it is a selected form of G. angustifolia. He also mentioned that G. angustifolia and G. acaulis are nearly identical.

Decumbent: Pulsatilla albana has a yellow flower.
You may have Pulsatilla vulgaris.
Whatever it is, it is beautiful!
Taramark,
Interesting. The flower color is a little more intense on my other P. vulgaris, but overall the plant looks very similar.

The pulsatilla is certainly vulgaris....albana is indeed yellow...I have that one and its a charmer. The gentian may well be angustifolia. There is much confusion in the trade between angustifolia and acaulis. Not easy to tell them apart. We have one at the Botanical garden labelled acaulis but I was able to ID it correctly as angustifolia 'Frei'. I guess it really doesn't matter. View it as a lovely spring-flowering gentian.
