We pulled up an old flagstone walkway and we found this plant growing underneth of it! It was all curled up but then after a few minutes of sun it started to uncurl. What do you think it is?
Does anyone know what this is?
Do you have any plants or trees nearby that look kinda like it?
Probably a daffodil. You won't know until it blooms (or you dig up the bulb) because it could also be a surprise lily.
To save it, your choices are 1) transplant it to more favorable conditions or 2) remove the flagstone for the next 8 weeks and then return it to its postition. Of course, you'll have to remove it again next spring.

If those leaves were dark green, it looks an awful lot like Belladonna Lily

If it is, it will bloom in the summer. Fun to have a mystery!
Dig it up aned have a look at the root. If it is a bulb, move it to a permanent location and keep an eye in it.
It could also be a grass l of some sort if the roots are just plain roots with no bulbs. Monkey grass, mondo grass.
