Clematis scottii seedlings

What sage advice does anyone have for C. scottii seedling care?

I have read: full sun when regular irrigation; part shade in drier area/.
A bit slow to establish, but a long-lived perennial.

So far, so good.

Clematis scottii is aka C. hirsutissima.

They are short little beauties used in Rock Gardens.

I just checked it out - very pretty. It reminds me of viorna in flower form though I understand
its non-vining. You'll have to post pictures in PlantFiles when it blooms. There are none there
now.
