I finally have two that germination!
Thank you,

Clematis scottii seedlings
waiting to see any responses to this post as well. I just bought one two weeks ago and haven't decided where to put it.

I have read: full sun when regular irrigation; part shade in drier area/.
A bit slow to establish, but a long-lived perennial.
So far, so good.
Not familar with that one so I can't offer much advice.
Clematis scottii is aka C. hirsutissima.
They are short little beauties used in Rock Gardens.
Sounds like my tenuiloba which unfortunately, died this past winter :(
C. scottii has recurved tips.
I just checked it out - very pretty. It reminds me of viorna in flower form though I understand
its non-vining. You'll have to post pictures in PlantFiles when it blooms. There are none there
now.
