coffee grounds

It seems that in some areas it is standard policy for Starbucks to pack the spent grounds back in the bags that it came in and put it in a bin out front. I sure wish that I could randomly just stop in and grab a few bags. In my area I have had to call in the morning to tell them to set aside grounds that day. 9 out of 10 times they have had a trash bag waiting for me in the evening. It is a bit of a hassle because I often don't know if I will have time after work to stop by so I do not do it often. Plus I am often tempted to purchase a coffee.

The Starbucks in our area frequently pack up grounds in the silver bags that the beans came in, but the bags only hold a small amount. We like to have a large haul. If I forgot to call ahead, I check the coffee ground waste bin and if it has a larger amount of grounds, I ask for that.
