Making a porch-top Greenhouse from scratch.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

It seems I have gone overboard -I have over a 160 (uh, yes, that's not on over statement) of rapidly growing seedlings in my livingroom, and this is not acceptable to the rest of the household (re: my mother who lives with me). The dirt, tripping over pots, etc...*sigh*

So, anyway, I'm building a deck next year and thought - well, my deck with be facing south. I just have to figure out some kind of attractive system that will allow light, provide heat, and protect the tender babies from the weather.

I could buy an expensive system - or put one together. I like the latter idea. Any ideas?

Larissa ~ look at this post and scroll down to Dec 6th. Sandi (bigbubbles) has a real neat and easy plant shelter that can be dismantled and stashed for the summer. I found it interesting in its' simplicity. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/674265/
