If you don't have excel, here's a free, downloadable alternative:

Hineni just emailed this to me, and I thought someone else might find it helpful, too. Right now, I'm heading back to this afternoon's wintersowing - haven't looked at this link in depth, yet.
Everyone have fun
PS - a new companion technology that Gardenwife and Dave have cooked up that would also be extremely useful with our databases allows us to save individual posts instead of entire threads (I use my "favorites" section like a filing cabinet for my research). Now, we don't have to hunt through an entire thread to find just the one pithy post we want to ponder again:

One more thing, DG operates best on our computers with Firefox, and Dave also gives a link for downloading it free in:
http://davesgarden.com/forums/p.php?pid=3154742 - read rest of thread for comments about that
Dave's Garden has brought me light years ahead of where I was before joining in how to use a computer, and I haven't taken advantage of the possibilities on the DG computer forum nearly as much as I should. If you have a favorite subject, this is going to be a tremendous help. Thanks, again, Dave.
