Could any of you more familiar with propagation than I chime in on how best to propagate a Mandevilla? I have had a cutting in soil for about 2 weeks, with no growth yet and yesterday I snipped another and placed it into water. Not sure how long I should expect this to take or which method is a better bet. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thank you!
Mandevilla propagation
I never tried to root them in water, but it takes months in the soil, even with rooting hormone. All ya can do is keep em really warm, mist the cuttings, and grab a ton of catalogs to look through while ya wait for it to root. Makes the time go by faster. : ) Even then they fussy as all get out.
Thanks. It does seem like it's taking forever to root!
