HELP! The soil in my WS containers is very moist and then we got freezing temps and everything froze. Will my seeds rot in that wet and soggy frozen soil?
Steve
Will they rot?
If they are too wet add more drainage holes or slits.
Karen
Will they still drain if the soil is frozen?
No, but it probably won't matter if they're solidly frozen. As they thaw, I'd add more drainage holes. You might try some holes sort of on the corners, or lower sides near but not in contact with the ground. Those might drain better than the ones sitting directly on the ground.
Karen
Ok, Thanks :) I'll be sure to do that!
Steve
