Amaryllis Red Charm

Cramlington, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I got this in a box kit this year, I've not grown it before.

It's just starting to open. Quite a small flower, I'd call it semi-double. A very rich red. Lovely outside petals.

I can't wait to see yours opened fully. I have had Red Peacock for quite a few years. Sometimes, the bloom is more full than others. There always seems to be a tiny white streak in at least one of the petals.

Please do keep posting pics....

Thanks!

Looking forward to watching this unfold.

Keep the pix coming, K.

That one looks very promising!

I don't think it will open much more. The flowers are quite small.

I bought this one, but it is a ways from blooming.

You said that the flowers were small. Would you consider it a miniature double?
