I finally followed the link over, hi Ginger! Your gardens are beautiful, makes me miss Australia even more, these pics.
I lived in Oz for a while and LOVED LOVED LOVED it. I toured pretty quickly through Brisbane, most of my time was spent in SA.
I'm sorry you can't be in the Equine thread, too, but thanks for sharing your horse pics here with us.

He does look like he has a bit of attitude.
Is he a stallion or gelding ?
My kid took that pic with her cel phone : ) I don't think it has a flash...sometimes, the sky really is that colour here. : )
He is a gelding, a Halflinger. This is him and my youngest...

well...they were taken about a year apart. : )
it's all to do with the weather...that blue sky pic was taken the day after a huge front had gone through, it was lovely and clear and brilliant, it's been about 60 f here all week...very mild
the other one...it'd been cold and mizzly for a while, because the bank of pics I pulled that from show me standing there in a snow suit
also...I probably took it with my phone, which is pretty crummy

That kid, she is a nudist. I can't keep clothes on her. I've actually had her show up in the barn wearing nothing but her boots..."BUT MUMMY I AM wearing clothes, see? I have my boots!" It must have been frigid for her to deign to keep her coat on.
I do miss the weather in SA. : ) Here in Virginia is can be pretty chilly, especially because I am in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mts.
