Night blooming jasmine

Thomasville, GA(Zone 8a)

I am cutting back my night blooming jasmine. How is the best way to proprogate this plant? Can it be started in water as with a brug or should I do something else? I have several large limbs 1/2". Do I take off all the leaves? Thanks

it starts easily from cuttings. I do all my cuttings in a soiless mix. I think you can use all of the branch-just cut in 5-6" pieces and take off all but the top few leaves of each cutting. It will root within 2 weeks, depending on the soil temp. Just stick in 2" in the soil.

Thank you and I cut it back yesterday and will pot it up today. I'm hoping to have some cuttings ready for the roundup in January. I have a huge plant and I want to put it some other places in the yard. I know some people feel the smells is overwhelming but just out in the yard it's great. Have a good day. Elaine

I love it, its a great plant to have in the yard, and I am going to plant them all around the yard in the spring too! Good luck with the cuttings
