We are expecting very low temperatures tonight, 26º, so I suppose it will be the end for lots of things. I have shrub roses blooming. Lots of annuals look better now than they did all summer because it was so hot & dry. I still have a new bed to plant. It will get tulips, daffadols, etc. Next spring it will get Iris & lillies. I have around 800 spring bulbs going in there.

Yes, that rain we got that weekend really perked it up. Doesn't look so good now, 20º was to much for it!

20°F??? oooh that was harsh .... it's always so sad to see everything die back when the first hard frost hits .... but then it's time to start dreaming and planning for next spring :-) !!!!
