Can you root these in water - I should add all I have is the huge bloom on a stem. They are so gorgeous I want to try. Should I try sand, water or what and should I remove the bloom.
Thanking all in advance for help on this.

How do you propogate spider lilies?
Bump!! Bump!! Spider mums ,if they are regular chrysanthmums, will root in water,or more easly in a baggy.I'm not sure of "spider"mum, but when I have a mum I like I make cuttings,2-3 inches long, and put them in a potting solution, and they will root in 3 weeks.Mike
Thank you Mike.
