Anyone help with this question. Began tryng to graft trifoliate orange. Am new at this but have had a lot of help from Stan McKenzie at Mckenzie Farms. Anyway, have been successful grafting a Dancy tangering to Trifoliate and recently a Blood Orange to Trifoliate. But seem to having a problem getting a Lemon and a Lime to graft to Trifoliate. Not sure what type of Lemon and Lime I have since the seeds were obtained from fruits at the grocery store but have lived 6 years in pots and began blooming this past spring. They are getting large (in 25 Gal Pots) so I'll trying to bud graft to reduce the size.
Is there a problem know trying to graft a Lemon or Lime bud (T-bud) to Trifoliate orange?
Any input would be helpful
Thanks
