I have a Lobelia "Queen Victoria" that I got accidentally in a purchase of salvias. I would really like to save the seed and perhaps use them for trade as the plant has no business in my xeric garden. How do I go about collecting the seeds? How should they be stored?
Saving seeds from Lobelia "Queen Victoria"
Hi Greenjay,
Click the link and scroll til you see Lobelia http://theseedsite.co.uk/db13.html It showes you what to look for on your plant.
If you figure out how to get the seeds, I would love some. I accidently stepped on my Queen Victoria and it died :( Haven't been able to find another one.
Good Luck, Connie
heck I would give you the whole plant in exchange if I could figure out how to send it without killing it!
lol I would except it to rofl, I was so upset when I discovered I had stepped on mine and broke it. I was shoveling mulch out of the back of the truck into my new garden bed and when I stepped down and back out of the truck, well it's gone. I am hoping it will come back next year from the root, will have to wait and see.
