We have several thousand wild Pepper Berry Vines on our place. After reading on Susanna Lyles book that they are edible, I tried a few today. They taste great, similar to the Red Hots candy I used to eat as a kid, but not as hot. Last year they did poorly, but this year they are everywhere. Too many for the birds and coons.
I think I will try some for jelly. Has anyone else used these? They are also an attractive vine, although many people think it is Poison Ivy.
