Did you overhead water during the heat of the day? Since it sounds as if it just happened overnight. Possibly water on the leaf acting like a magnifying glass and burned the leaf.

I usually water at about 1 am, lol Could be left over dew, but it WAS overnight, but there was not much sun out today. :( I plucked them off, and am hoping for no more

It's a fungus rot, and caused by the combination of heat and wetness on the leaves. Squash, spinach and chard are especially vulnerable, and I try not to get the foilage of these plants wet as I water them.
