My first bloom on Duchess of Albany. I got this plant in late summer 2004, planted it on my fence. I then moved her in June 2005 to my new house. She sat in a container until Fall 2005, when I was finally able to get her into the ground. I think the blooms are so cute :)
You can see the blooms are very small this year, though I don't know exactly how large they will eventually get. I've never had DoA before. She was planted with Betty Corning, but Betty didn't survive the winter :( I am going to plant Venosa Violacea with her once I get the monster trellis up.

Meig..isn't DoA sweet..yes she will be a little bit larger than that with age...and I think VV with look fabulous with her...Jeanne
