I am in the floor - I love that section.. the best section of the whole thing!
How did you get it on here like that?
Stepped on a fatboy copperhead today....
Did you ever watch Bewitched when you were a kid?
Well Mitch, I just wiggle my nose like she did and it magically appeared like that. Try it, it really works.
I am much to young to have seen the real thing but the reruns yep...
Not going to tell me are you?
I am much to young to have seen the real thing but the reruns yep...
OK, I'm going to try my best to explain this.
you start by typing a [
then you type the word quote and follow that up with a ]
No spaces.
After you have typed the above, add what you want to set in quotes and then finish by typing a [
then type a /
then type the word quote
then type a ]
leave no spaces.
Press your preview and you will see what ever it is your little heart desires in quotes.
For bold bold text, you will use a different html code.
You type a <
then you type a B
then you type a >
Leave no spaces
Add the word you want to show up in bold then
You type a <
then you type a /
then you type a B
then you type a >
Leave no spaces
Presto, you will have bold type.
You can also get italics and you can also underline by applying the same principles only use an I or a U.
Like this-
Hi Mitch
Now let's try underlining-
Hi Mitch
Spank ME!! SPANK ME!! I've been MUCH MORE NAUGHTY than Zoot!! I should get spanked FIRST!!
LOLROF;
blue
ummm ... [/ hello this is Mitch ] right?
I'm way too lazy to use italics for my binomials but I know I should. I don't use bold or caps much because it is the equivalent of shouting at a person in a thread and it's deemed rude by most but I will use quotes a lot.
Hope this helps.
Try again Mitch. It takes some fiddling but you will get it. Practice all you want here in Tigger's thread, she doesn't care if it gets hijacked.
nope [/this is Mitch] then?
lol ... ..[lol]
not getting it... hello all
I got it [/]this box is a quote...[/]
nope but works this way hello guys I got part of it
No, but close.
Here, just replace the * in front with a [ and the * behind the word quote with a ]
*quote*hello this is Mitch*/quote*
You need the brackets and the word quote in front of and behind the text you want to set in quotes. Only difference is that the word quote in brackets that follows the test has to have a / in front of it.
Ahhh off to bed...
so much to learn!
You're getting so close!
Nightie night John boy!
hello
Way to go! Idaho!
I got it.... took some time but I got it
Daves is way to much fun.. too much fun
Will you two STOP it, already, lol. SHEESH!! I see something NEW at garden foes, and I think i amgonna see something INTERESTING, lol

Ahh go spank yourself you newbie you. Say, I just clicked on your user name and found out you just signed up in early June! You should add the zone that you are in to your profile. It's so much fun to poke sport at people who push zones but trying to plant plants that as a rule won't grow in the zone they garden in and you are depriving us of mocking you when we catch you pushing zones when you don't share what zone you are in.
Give me about a half hour and let me see if I can start a new thread in Garden Foes with something interesting in it just for you Blue. I need to go poke through my photos and look for something very special for you. Something very special indeed for the neophyte.
Lol - alright now I am heading off to bed for sure - I will look for the new thread in the morning.. 6 sure comes early!
Tigger still needs to part with the other Copperhead story.
EQUI,
It says right under my city, "Zone 8b" does it not, or have I been struck BLIND yet again??
At least I think its 8b. I am SO NEW, I have NO IDEA precisely WHAT it is.

Guess, I've been struck blind. I didn't notice that last night. Oops.
ha 8b like me... well we do share something then...
106 here yesterday what was it there? (makes it had to grow anything at that temp!)
88F but the humidity is hideous. I'll take my 88° to your 106° any day.
88 - that is not summer that is more like spring here...
My condolences ;)
Just think my lantana is native and blooms all winter.... blooms year round sure are nice.
Low blow.
When your lantana is blooming, we are knee deep in snow. I do have a few Lenten Roses as of this year. I am told those bloom before the Crocus bloom. I have no idea what I am doing with Lenten Roses but I figured what the heck, time to try Helleborus. Here's hoping they do something over the winter. It will be very interesting. I'll have to take note of where I planted them so I can dig them out just in case they do bloom.
snow? I have only seen snow one time in my life.. ice comes once every few years but really snow (to build a snowman or such) only once... sad thing is that means so many bulbs will not grow here - that is why I turned to natives.
