Chinese Wolfberry

Bethany, IL(Zone 5b)

I recently read the red fruit of the Chinese Wolfberry are over the top in nutritional value, and contain more antioxidents than any plant on earth. I don't know much, other than this seems to be one of those "too-good-to-be-true" moments! Before seriously considering raising some organically (naturally!) and investing what little time and/or resources I have into raising some, I would graciously value and appreciate everyone's experiences and comments. Thank you all in advance.
Scientific Name: Lycium barbarum // Common Name: Chinese Wolfberry

I don't know anything (other than taste) about them...however, I find them less than tasty :(

y0slick1,

I have been growing the plant(s) since last year. No fruit yet, but have tried and like the dried fruit. Plant is very vigorous, with thorns, and very easy to propagate. Cuttings start easily in water or soil. Plants like alkaline (or neutral soil). Don't spend a lot on plants, you should be able to get cuttings or seed for trade. Plant grows several feet per year.
